Certificate

This online permaculture certificate course is for those of you who are totally switched and looking for the specific outcomes of an organized and structured learning experience. You will complete all of your lectures, and assignments on schedule within the context of an online classroom. I also get much more involved in the online certificate package than the DIY package.

The certificate package contains all of the same online material of the DIY package plus an addition 12 live webinars with me and the other registered students of this program. In these webinars I will share with you case studies of my own work in the field and answer specific questions about material in the lectures. You will work through scheduled assignments and complete a final design project that you will present to the rest of the class. I will provided you with an in depth critique of your final project and issue a certificate upon successful completion of all design work and required assignments.

Even though this is an online course and will place certain constraints on your schedule, the online platform is a flexible way for you to attend a PDC without a major disruption to your life. Having taught PDC courses for the last 8 years I know and understand how difficult it can be to commit the time and resources to a traditional 2 week PDC on location. To be perfectly honest, being on an active farm for your PDC is just not necessary. Much of your assignment work will involve active engagement with your own local landscape. With this online course format you will learn permaculture in your personal context.

If you are really looking to ramp up your permaculture knowledge with a credential that lets other people know that you know, this is it. This is the online course for you.

Sincerely

Jesse Lemieux, BSc. PDC
Principal Designer and Teacher, Pacific Permaculture
