The homesteader package is the full meal deal whether you are looking to: super charge your permaculture theory with hands on field work, redesign your own farm, or want to get a taste of the homesteading life you will find what you are looking for in this program.

The homestead package program utilize all aspects of an active learning system:

  • direct experience
  • critical reflection
  • abstract thinking
  • creative experimentation

This maximizes information retention and learning outcomes.

It includes all of the same course content as the Certificate Package as well as 7 days in the field on an functioning homestead. You will participate in the day to day happenings of farm life, lectures in advance permaculture design techniques and hands on group design project work.

Not only will you do all of this great learning, you will be spending a whole week in a beautiful location with a group of great people. These events are so much fun you won't even realize that you are at school. The lodging is comfortable, the food is great and its all included in the cost of tuition. Come and join us. Make connections that will last a life time, connection between you and the landscape and connections with other permaculture people. I have never had a student leave one of these events that wasn't completely satisfied and switched on. This event will charge you up to make some big changes you will not be disappointed.

Enrollment in the Homesteader Package includes:

  • Life time access to all of the online PDC materials;

  • 12 scheduled weekly webinars with the session teacher;

The next scheduled homestead online component starts June 6th and runs to August 22nd the on location component runs September 3rd to 10th.

Enroll in the prerequisite “Permaculture Kickstart course.” The Kickstart runs from Monday to Friday, happens every two weeks, and will require about 6 to 8 hours of self directed study. The online kickstart course is always free of charge and will give you a great taste of the pacific permaculture education experience.
